Hello friends—
You already know that I am serial-publishing my memoir online and I’ve promised you I’d keep the promotional posts at a minimum. So this is a quickie! I just want to invite you to a very special event this Tuesday evening, June 18, at 7 pm EDT.
My longtime friend Janisse Ray and I will be conversing live on Zoom, and welcoming your questions.
Janisse is a terrific writer and defender of all things wild. Her Trackless Wild newsletter here on Substack is a great place to land if you want to read about the natural world—how to love it, how to protect it, how to merge into it.
I’ve asked Janisse if we can concentrate our conversation on memoir and writing about childhood because that relates to my book … but you know how these things go. Who knows what we’ll end up talking about? And who knows what you might want to ask us?
This is the first of several live webinars I’ll be offering as part of my book package, and most of those are reserved for paid subscribers to the book. (You can sign on at https://goodeyebadeye.substack.com/.)
But I decided to open this session for free, to anyone who’s interested. It’s not often you get a chance to pick the brains of two writers who love the wild and writing about the wild.
Please join us!
Sounds like a great zoom! Hate that I have a conflict and won't be able to listen.
Oh I hope nothing gets in the way because I definitely want to listen to this!
