Also, that rong around the sun is known as a parhelion. I love that word. And I love to see them. They are a lovely accessory to the harsh winter sun.

This is amazing! All of it. We practice daily mindful ess techniques at my school. I am going to use that website with my students! And I love combining the Journaling. Holly's thoughts were beautiful and powerful. This difficult time will pass. Thank you for sharing.

Oh My Gosh!

tree.fm will now be my persistent background sound in the studio. It is calming, connecting and utterly delightful. Thank you for sharing. I shall do the same in an upcoming post.

Glad you liked it, Kim, and having it as background sound in your studio sounds lovely.

Thank you Jeanne for this lovely discovery. I love what I have heard so far! I am having trouble finding the map you talked about. ???

My apologies, Diane. If you scroll down on Tree.fm, it'll take you to a separate website where you can see the map and then download your own audio clip. Here's the map: https://timberfestival.org.uk/soundsoftheforest-soundmap/ And here's where you go to download your audio file: https://timberfestival.org.uk/sounds-of-the-forest/audio-submission-form/ I just edited the post to include those links. Thanks for alerting me!

What a wonderful idea for a website and resource. That sounds like an excellent idea for your clients to help connect with Nature and themselves on a deeper level.

I've bookmarked the Trees.fm and am going to use that as background sounds whilte I read and write. On my first click, the site took me to a forest in Bryne Norway. Thanks for sharing!

Long Shoals. I don’t need to go anywhere else. Is that OK Jeanne? Can I just stay here? With the sound of water rushing? Before the vaping teens and disposable diapers return. Just stay here. For just a moment? A moment that lasts forever?🌿

Yes, Irwin! A thousand times yes.

Yay, I'm so glad, Nina! It's surprising me how many of us did not know about the Tree.fm website. (I didn't, either.) I'm really happy to hear how it's a revelation for everyone.

Thanks for sharing this website. It sounds amazing! As does your website and approach to therapy. When I moved out of the city to live in Exmoor it was the first time I’d lived so close to nature and it completely changed everything for me. Opened my mind, my heart and set me off on a new path. So using it as a setting for therapy sessions is genius!

Thanks for reading & commenting, Amanda. Good to have you here! Glad to hear you're trekking your own path of nature therapy close to home. That's one thing I love about it, that anyone can engage in it by simply stepping outside.

Wish I could find a nature-therapist near me! That sounds SO beneficial!!! And thank you for sharing tree.fm! Definitely going to be using that!

Samantha, first of all, I love the name of your farm-so clever! Secondly, you never know; there might be a nature therapist practicing in your area. If you go to psychologytoday.com and click on "find a therapist," you can type words/phrases/names/zip codes into the search function. Good luck!

Ah, thank you so much for sharing this! ❤️ This is pure bliss. As I love to draw trees (still practicing but I'm getting there), this will be a huge basket for inspiration. I just got an idea for a project. And here's my plan... while listening to the music of the trees, I will draw the picture (or part of it) that was shared with the music. Jeanne, may I refer/cross link to this post in one of my next Newsletters? I would like to let my subscribers know about this plan.
